Ada Nada

Fig. 1 Valeirano and Rombone, Treiso
Founded in 1919, Ada Nada is a small family estate in Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco production zone.
Today the estate has nine hectares under vine, with vineyards surrounding the family winery and extending through the important areas of Valeirano and Rombone. Vineyard work and harvesting are carried out by hand, with the family combining traditions passed through generations with contemporary knowledge in the vineyard and cellar.
Barbaresco lies at the heart of production, alongside small quantities of other traditional Langhe wines including Nebbiolo and Barbera.

Our relationship with Ada Nada began in 2021, during a visit to Piedmont in search of independent producers with whom we could build something for the long term.
A tasting with Annalisa at the family estate in Treiso quickly became something more than a search for wines. We were drawn not only to the quality and character of the wines, but to the family behind them: approachable, deeply connected to their vineyards and genuinely committed to what they produce.
That first meeting developed into a relationship built on mutual support. Annalisa has travelled to the UK to present the wines alongside us, meet retailers and take part in tastings, while the next generation of the family has shared that same commitment.
Ada Nada remains important to Sipsense for precisely that reason: excellent wines with a strong sense of place, made by people we know, trust and want to succeed alongside.

Barbaresco DOCG Valeirano
100% Nebbiolo
Valeirano sits at the heart of the Ada Nada range and represents the estate's deep connection with Barbaresco and the vineyards of Treiso. Produced entirely from Nebbiolo grown in the Valeirano area, it combines the structure and longevity expected of Barbaresco with freshness, savoury character and refined tannins.
Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Serena
100% Nebbiolo
Serena offers a more immediate expression of Nebbiolo from the hills of Treiso. Fresh and finely structured, with floral, spice and ripe-fruit character, it retains the elegance of the variety while being approachable earlier in its development.
Barbera d'Alba DOC Pierin
100% Barbera
Pierin shows another side of the Ada Nada estate. Rich and juicy, with ripe fruit and the natural freshness characteristic of Barbera, it combines generosity with balance and versatility.
